Your public number stays on Google, trucks and ads. Dial one code from the phone that owns it and the calls to that number come to Orvius. Your phone won’t ring. That is a setting in your carrier, not an application, and you can turn it off yourself. Codes can differ by plan — if one doesn’t work, use your carrier’s app. The steps also include the code for calls you don’t answer, if you want your phone to ring first.
Verizon
- Keep the number on Google, your trucks and your ads.
- From that phone, dial *72 and your Orvius number, then call. That sends every call to Orvius. Your phone won't ring.
- To send only calls you don't answer, dial *71 and your Orvius number instead.
- Call your business number from another phone. Orvius should answer.
AT&T
- Keep the number on Google, your trucks and your ads.
- From that phone, dial **21*1 and your 10-digit Orvius number, then #, and press call. That sends every call to Orvius.

T-Mobile

- Keep the number customers already call.
- In your phone's settings or your carrier's app, turn on call forwarding for every call. This is a setting, not an application.
- Forward those calls to your Orvius number. To send only calls you don't answer, choose that rule instead.

Business / VoIP line
- Keep your published shop number.
- In your phone system's admin, forward all calls to your Orvius number.
- To send only unanswered calls, or only after hours, set that rule instead.
- Call the published number from another phone. Orvius should answer.
A new public number, if you want one
Settings also offers an Orvius number as your main line. That is a new number. Put it on Google, trucks and ads, and keep the old number forwarded until everything is updated. Callers who ask for a person are transferred to the number in Settings → Receptionist, or you get a callback request.
Check it worked
From another phone, call your business number. Orvius should pick up with your shop name. If you chose every call, your business phone should stay quiet. Under Settings → Phone number you can text yourself these steps for your carrier.
